Reprocessing for imaging

When the current image is not good enough, diagnose before restarting.

PearlingGeo can assess an existing processing/imaging result, identify the limitations most relevant to the imaging objective, and propose a focused reprocessing and re-imaging path.

Targeted reprocessing

Fix the parts that control image quality.

Not every disappointing image requires a complete restart from field data. The right intervention depends on where signal quality, velocity, multiples, statics, wavelet consistency or migration assumptions begin to limit the result.

Imaging readiness review

Assess gathers, velocities, wavelet/bandwidth, noise, multiples and geometry before choosing the next migration path.

Focused conditioning

Apply only the conditioning necessary to support a materially better image, rather than repeating every historical processing step.

Controlled re-imaging

Run comparative migrations and image QC so the client can see whether the intervention actually improved the geological answer.

Legacy data

Older data can still contain unrealized imaging value.

Changes in velocity-model methodology, migration algorithms, compute capability and enhancement techniques can justify revisiting datasets that were processed under earlier constraints.
